Counsellors

JAMES CLIMENHAGE | PhD RPC |

I hold a BA (Psychology/ Criminology), MA (Social Psychology), and PhD (Social Psychology) from Simon Fraser University, and I am a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC). I work primarily with adults and couples, and have experience working with gay, non-binary, and trans persons.

I provide a range of mental health services with a focus on anxiety, including OCD, and stress management, depression, relationship repair and management, addictions, anger management, trauma, and grief.

Like most counsellors I take a diverse approach to treatment and draw primarily on therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and aspects of the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy and Attachment Theory.

LANCE LINDBLOM | MACP RCC |

I have completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). I am excited to connect with those seeking counselling services and aim to be adaptive to the needs of all the individuals I work to support.

My experience in providing mental health services focuses around anxiety and stress management, exploring difficulties with depression and mood concerns, and supporting clients in navigating challenges in their personal relationships.

I structure my counselling philosophy around general wellness and Mindfulness practices and draw on the therapeutic modalities of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Positive Psychotherapy (PPT).
